Check out this Fox45 news clip of Drew Seeley singing to Brooke Shockley at Johns Hopkins Hospital. It was an awesome event. Brooke is such a lovely girl. Look carefully and you might see Jaxon and myself in the background. Jaxon is wearing an orange and black shirt. Unfortunately, during the performance Jaxon got a fever and was admitted to the hospital later that afternoon.

Jaxon's first Raven's Game
Friday, August 19, 2011
Pete and I took Jaxon to his 1st Baltimore Raven's football game, the 1st pre-season game. Thanks to a friend, we were able to take a tour of the field and stand on the 30 yard line during pregame warm-up time. Would you believe, Ray Rice came over to Jaxon, gave him a football, and then a high-five. This was simply awesome and meant so much to us. He doesn't know anything about Jaxon. He was doing something nice for a kid! Such a great memory.
Simply Awesome!

Happy 4th Birthday!
Unfortunately, cancer treatment doesn't stop for birthdays. Jaxon got his Chemo then it was back to celebrate turning 4. It was a fun day even though his party had to be rescheduled until he is healthier. Jaxon's counts were just too low to be around a lot of people right now and he really should be resting, if possible!
I can't believe our sweet little boy is now 4 years old. It seems like only yesterday we were in Guatemala holding our beautiful baby boy. It's crazy just how quickly time flies. Jaxon is such an inquisitive, smart, kind, and yes sweet little boy. We love him to the moon and back!
Happy birthday sweetie!
May all of your wishes come true.
Love, Mommy and Daddy

Your son has cancer
Our lives were forever changed on Monday, February 28, 2011 as doctors at John Hopkins Hospital informed us that our sweet little boy has leukemia, a cancer of the blood. What a blow to the head. As you can imagine, we were terrified and still are. Somehow we are managing to keep it together as we are blessed with the love and support of family and friends.
Jaxon's treatment began on Wednesday, March 2nd.
Upside: Jaxon has ALL the most common and curable type of leukemia.
Downside: The treatment plan is quite intense. He is considered to be in the high risk category (high risk for relapse). He will be fighting this battle for at minimum the next 3 years.
The journey will be very difficult but we are optimistic that Jaxon will prevail as a Leukemia Warrior.
Please keep Jaxon in your thoughts and prayers and feel free to follow his battle against leukemia at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jaxonyeagy ,
website name JaxonYeagy (one word).
If you haven't done so today hug your children, tell them just how much you love them and how proud you are to be their parents. Time moves so quickly.

A visit to the airport park
Jaxon and I took advantage of the sunny day be visiting the aircraft observation park at BWI. It was really cool to watch the plans zoom by our car. Since it was sunny but still pretty cold outside we ate our lunch in the car, talked and watched the planes go by!
