Your son has cancer

Our lives were forever changed on Monday, February 28, 2011 as doctors at John Hopkins Hospital informed us that our sweet little boy has leukemia, a cancer of the blood.  What a blow to the head.  As you can imagine, we were terrified and still are.  Somehow we are managing to keep it together as we are blessed with the love and support of family and friends.

Jaxon's treatment began on Wednesday, March 2nd.
Upside: Jaxon has ALL the most common and curable type of leukemia.
Downside: The treatment plan is quite intense.  He is considered to be in the high risk category (high risk for relapse). He will be fighting this battle for at minimum the next 3 years.
The journey will be very difficult but we are optimistic that Jaxon will prevail as a Leukemia Warrior.

Please keep Jaxon in your thoughts and prayers and feel free to follow his battle against leukemia at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/jaxonyeagy ,
website name JaxonYeagy (one word).

If you haven't done so today hug your children, tell them just how much you love them and how proud you are to be their parents. Time moves so quickly.
