Just remembering that glorious phone call letting us know we were out of PGN and officially a family!
Exactly one year ago today we became a family recognized under Guatemalan law. Jaxon's last name was legally changed to Yeagy. And using our family last name, he was issued a new Guatemalan birth certificate that named us as his parents! Oh happy day!!!!!
It took another month before we were scheduled our Embassy appointment (12/07/2007)and were recognized as a legal family under American law.
Family Day is only one month away! -- December 7, 2008
